shot.

Tried working with photocopies for this entry. Starting out simple, maybe I will put in more elements in my future posts. We'll see. Posted by Hello

I mean, it must be high or low.

The page is inspired by this peace poster I saw in a magazine when I was younger. I've always fancied myself a hippie. =P

I might scribble an entry into this page another time. Oh, and I hope one day I can do self-portraits that actually look like me. I don't really look like that, though I think I feel like that.Posted by Hello

my trusty backpack [EM drawing theme]

Here is my trusty backpack and the various things it holds on a regular day: There's my wallet, celphone, cd player, a handful of cds, my pencil case, and of course, my journal. I also throw in my frisbee (I should really say UltraStar) disc so I could toss a bit whenever I find the chance (and field space).

The bag expands when you loosen the straps you see there in front. And I've used this bag for my beach trips (it can hold up to 5 days' worth of beachwear!).

The drawings aren't to scale of each other =P Again, this is for the everydaymatters weekly drawing theme.Posted by Hello

Lamp [EM drawing theme]

Here's a journal entry with a lamp drawing for this week's drawing theme in the everydaymatters egroup. This is a lamp at the Old Spaghetti House where a friend and I had lunch today. It was way over across the room, above someone else's table. I wasn't planning on drawing anything else after the lamp, but I felt like sketching my friend abbie after I finished my food.

I didn't mean for the two drawings to be one whole scene. They're just two drawings on a page, hehehe. Posted by Hello

sole mates

New journal!!! I'm using the pink buttonhole stitch journal I made last Sunday, pages are eggshell drawing paper.

For my first entry, I drew my cleats for this week's drawing theme in the everydaymatters yahoogroup.

The scan of the next spread is here. =)

And now I can no longer keep myself from using one of my new journals. I'm going to skip the journal that was really the next one in line for use (white unruled, spiral bound) and go ahead and use one of the journals I made myself.

I figured, if I go ahead and use one of my little journals, I can fill em up much quicker and THEN move on to the spiral bound. But if I use the spiral bound now, it'll take me forever and a half to fill it up cos it's thick! Ok, I've made up my mind. It's the pink buttonhole journal I'm using next.

Hehe. Posted by Hello

6Underground

My friend just recently opened a bar in the same spot where this old rocknroll joint used to be years ago. It's a great place and their grand opening was very successful.

Aside from catching gigs at my friend's bar, I've also been busy making journals. Yes, I've made a few more since last week, hehe.

I've uploaded them to this album, if anyone wants a look-see. =) Posted by Hello

I don't drink coffee anymore, but that doesn't mean I've stopped hanging out (or calling for meetings) at coffeeshops. Thankfully, I don't get the shakes from chocolate milk, so that's what I usually have these days.  Posted by Hello
