stick-figure fun

I recently got into making and trading ATCs (artist trading cards) and I wanted to find a style that was more cutesy than my usual 'can't-really-draw-straight-and-neat-nor-make-exact-copies' style. And I discovered that stick-figures were fun and a half!

I got the inspiration from browsing Kim's Suitcase's blog. Her gallery of ATCs on Flickr is wonderful. =)

Here's a page from my journal, made today at Starbucks, an hour before I had to meet my crew for a shoot. I was facing this table where two gents were having their afternoon coffee. Outside, it was a blustery day.

See my blog entry about ATCs.

  • That does look like fun. I still feel too shy to draw in cafes so this may be a good way to start. Great work!

  • Yep, that looks like fun! I like the figure in the wind particularly.
