Happily restocked my bookpile. This should last me until Christmas.

I'm reading The Bloody Chamber (a collection of fairy tale retellings by Angela Carter) and Frank Beddor's The Looking Glass Wars, which I am enjoying immensely. I do love otherworld stories.
Found a nice copy of (the Illustrated) Dracula in the sale bin of National Bookstore, price was 200 pesos! Luckily, I saw another copy tucked in another bin. So I got that one too!
It has a few glossy full-color illustrations, and a bunch of bw ones, all by Jae Lee. I've read Dracula. So this copy is just a nice addition to my library.
My current read is The Looking Glass Wars, a spin on the Alice in Wonderland story. Really enjoying it. I'll be shuttling between here and Wonderland for the next few days.

Many thanks for reading The Looking Glass Wars! I hope you enjoyed your enthusiastic leap into the Pool of Tears, assisting Princess Alyss and Royal Bodyguard Hatter Madigan with their harrowing adventures into pop culture.
I would like to share with you new revelations from Wonderland as they come into the Looking Glass Wars Library and Hatter M Institute. If you’re interested in receiving this confidential material, before it becomes public, please supply a secure email address.
