Got off work early today, so I dropped by the bookstore to get more supplies for my bookbinding foray this weekend. Those scrapbooking papers looked really yummy so I got a few packs. I thought the printed papers were light enough to be pages, but they turned out to be light cardboard, so I decided to use them as covers.
I still followed this tutorial, except I didn't use photo prints (didn't have prints that I especially liked). The glue worked well enough, even if I made my book a little thicker than my first.

I combined different kinds of paper: graphing paper, ledger sheets, and regular paper in cream and green.

Can't wait to use it!

How neat! I love the cover, very cute. I want to try book binding, but I'm a bit intimidated. But I think it's a fantastic thing, to breathe new life into old books or to create just the perfect sketchbook. :)
Love the book, the colours and the fact that you've place different types of pages in it ...
this is cute! i esp love the idea of combining different kinds of papers. :)
