pagod and a half

I guess it's just the law of nature -- when a long break is just around corner, all projects that have been pending will suddenly push through at the same freakin time. There were all those months that we could've done all the shoots at a humanly reasonable pace. But no. All the clients just had to say "ok let's do it" at the last week of November. And they all need the videos between December 8-15.
It's a good thing D'yan Banda is going on replay for one episode. Otherwise, I'd really be tearing my hair out.
Last week, we were shooting up until the storm was threatening to blow in from the south (thank goodness it bypassed Manila); I got sick on Friday; got a bit of rest on Saturday; spent time with my lola and tita on Sunday.
And today, our calltime for the shoot was 5am. And now it's 5pm, and I'm still waiting for one last interview here at the office. 5am to 5pm isn't really that bad, if you think about it. And if I were younger.
But I'm the age that I am, and right now my mind is on the blink. I really think my brain is about to fold in on itself.
The good thing is, most of the shoots are finished. Just one more next week for D'yan Banda (which I don't count as being too stressful), and a last one for the electric company next next week (which shouldn't be too complicated).
Will go lounge on the couch while waiting for my last interview...
